I usually either add a transparent/abstract background, or add a simple item/character paraphernalia (e.g. a sword stuck in the ground, a tree, a streetlight) on the background instead of drawing a whole scene, and I don't charge extra for it (unless it's something complicated).
Full background will cost extra (price depends on what you'd like to see).

#9 Custom - $45
Includes a fullbody, a bust with minimal shading and a palette.
I'll need a detailed description of what you'd like to see (as opposed to the Experimental/Surprise custom option). For this option, I'm also showing WIPs, and I'm up for making slight alterations to the design on any stage.
#10 Experimental/Surprise custom - $38
(+$30 - if you'd like it to be a "couple custom" - two characters within the same theme, for ex.)
You give me minimal information - it can be gender/general theme/fantasy race/moodboard/palette/no-no's and I'll see what I can do.
It will be a surprise so you won't receive WIPs, but I'd be happy to provide you with a sketch/flat colored version if needed (after the custom is finished)!
Example: feminine - kleptomaniac kobold rogue - no purple/orange colors
